Over 150 of you eager green-thumbs filled out a 2025 Mystery Plant Competition answer card. The competition had been on hiatus for several years, as the advent of plant identification apps took the competition out of a simple identification approach. To adapt, and bring this crowd-pleasing feature of the Georgian Bay Garden Tour back, we had to get inventive and approach it differently with more complicated questions, including many with difficult to google answers. Like much of summer 2025, Saturday, July 26th was a scorcher, but that did not discourage over 400 gardening enthusiasts from striking out for some Georgian Bay adventure and green-thumb delights.
